Ever wonder how much of a garden amendment it will take to perform a certain gardening task? Look no further. We have provided information below to help you answer your questions.
For all three compressed Peat Moss sizes, the compressed Garden Amendment/Soil Conditioner and all 1 cf. and larger loose-fill Black Gold® Amendments, the charts below are designed to help you figure out how far each of the packages will go in amending your soil or when they are used as a top dressing. For trees and shrubs, use an equivalent to the size of the plant container or root ball. Plant in a ratio of one (1) part amendment to two (2) parts soil. Mulch the surrounding soil with the leftover mixture of amendment and soil. |
