The front panel (side) contains the name of the product, usually listed on a ribbon on the bottom and on both sides. Under the ribbon is a list of common uses for the product. Below the list of uses is the size in both English and Metric systems of measurement.

The back panel (side) is where most of the information is listed. The top portion introduces Black Gold® and common uses for the product category (potting soil, amendment or decorative). The information is then broken down into two panels, the one on the right in English and the one on the left in Spanish.

Information about the product category is the first item in the panel. The next items listed are the ingredients, in descending order of percentage. Helpful hints are next, which cover topics from storage suggestions to gardening tips. Listed next you will find the entire line of potting soils and amendments. Cautionary statements are below, which our lawyers love and we suggest you read. We then proudly display certifications or OMRI listing information. Finally, we have provided information about Sun Gro and our trademarks.
