In Spring 2007, Sun Gro started an effort to update the Black Gold® packaging. The first product that debuted was the Black Gold All Purpose Potting Soil with Multicote®, formerly Black Gold® All Purpose Potting Soil. The remaining products within the Black Gold® product line will debut Spring 2008. 

The new bags retain the recognizable rose, lily and other images, but now have been updated to provide you with improved information on the front, higher resolution graphics and a greater uniformity of look within the product line.

We have several name changes for Spring 2008: Black Gold® All Organic Potting Soil will be Black Gold® Natural & Organic Potting Soil, while Black Gold® Cocoblend will be Black Gold® WaterHold Cocoblend. Also for Spring 2008, Black Gold® Peat Moss (4 qt. & 1 cf. only) will become Black Gold® Peat Moss Plus!, our famous Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss with an organic wetting agent. Waterhold has been discontinued for 2008.
