Black Gold® Azalea, Camellia & Rhododendron
Soil pH is crucial for many plants. For acidic (less than 7 pH) soil-loving plants, Black Gold® Azalea, Camellia and Rhododendron is a great choice. The fertilizer naturally acidifies (reduces the pH) the soil as it provides nutrients for your garden plants. Beyond the plants listed in the name, we suggest you look at the box for a more complete list of acidic soil-loving plants. This Natural and Organic fertilizer is derived from bone meal, cottonseed meal, sulfate of potash, feather meal, blood meal and kelp meal. The guaranteed analysis is a balanced 5-5-3, meaning it is 5% nitrogen, 5% phosphate and 3% potash.

The nitrogen is available in both readily available and slow-release forms, while the phosphate and potash will slowly release over time. Black Gold® Azalea, Camellia & Rhododendron should be used at time of planting, after the plant begins to leaf out for established plants, and every 8-10 weeks throughout the growing season as needed. Black Gold® Azalea, Camellia & Rhododendron fertilizer is recommended for azaleas, camellias, rhododendrons, blueberries, hydrangeas and other acid-loving plants.

Black Gold® Alfalfa Meal
Alfalfa Meal has been a natural fertilizer choice for gardeners for a long time. Gardeners have found Black Gold® Alfalfa Meal to work wonders with roses and flowering shrubs and is an all around good choice for plants needing less nitrogen. Studies have shown it to increase the microbial activity in the soil. This Natural and Organic fertilizer is derived from alfalfa meal. The guaranteed analysis is a balanced 3-1-2, meaning it is 3% nitrogen, 1% phosphate and 2% potash. The nitrogen is available in both readily available and slow-release forms, while the phosphate and potash will slowly release over time. Black Gold® Alfalfa Meal should be used at time of planting or first bloom for perennials and every 6-8 weeks throughout the growing season thereafter for best results. Black Gold® Alfalfa Meal is recommended for roses, vegetables, annual and perennial flowers, shrubs & trees, vines and indoor and outdoor containers.

Black Gold® Multicote®
You will probably notice that Black Gold® Multicote® is the only non natural & organic fertilizer we offer. Black Gold® Multicote® may not be made with natural & organic ingredients but it is very earth-friendly. The slow-release mechanism releases nutrients when the plants need them and do not run off into the water system. The fertilizer also lasts from four to six months, making it both a labor and water-saving product. This slow-release fertilizer is derived from polymer-coated inorganic fertilizers. The guaranteed analysis is a balanced 15-7-15, meaning it is 15% nitrogen, 7% phosphate and 15% potash. The nitrogen, phosphate, potash and micronutrients will slowly release over time. Black Gold® Multicote® should be used at time of planting and every 4-6 months during the growing season.
