Black Gold® Orchid Bark is both horticulturally functional and decorative at the same time. The fine grade bark version is best used for thin rooted orchids like Neofinetia types and as smaller bark mulch for use in houseplants. The medium grade version would be ideal for medium diameter orchid roots like Odontoglossum types and as larger bark mulch for use in a houseplant. Black Gold® Orchid Bark can also be use a mix component for an orchid enthusiast wanting to make their own orchid mix.

Container gardeners have used Black Gold® Wash Gravel (naturally colored pea gravel) and Black Gold® White Rock for years.
